ULTRONĀ® Malaysia, is the proud winner of Malaysiaās SUPERBRAND Award for the 2nd consecutive year in 2018 and 2019.
This renowned sportswear brand hailing from Malaysia onto the regional stage across Asia Pacific since 2015, best known for its Micro-dry lightweight fabric for mass participating sports such as running, cycling, duathlon and triathlon.
To date, ULTRONĀ® has spread across twelve countries in the last 4 years as Official Apparel Partner with numerous international events and tournaments, including IRONMANĀ® Triathlon, POWERMANĀ® Duathlon and Asia Trail Masters Series
Currently with 10 retail outlets across West and East Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Perlis, Kuantan, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Lumut, Kuala Terengganu and Bandar Seri Begawan Brunei, ULTRONĀ® carries a full range of Micro-dry sportswear products ranging from basic tee, bottoms, tanks, windbreakers and sports hijab up to compression wear for both amateur and professional use. This outstanding home-grown label now eyes further expansion on both retail and manufacturing ends with integrated apparel manufacturing plants in Johor, Perlis and Kota Kinabalu in the next 2 years, in a 5 years plan towards Initial Public Offering.

Product innovation is one of the most crucial aspects for ULTRONĀ® despite being a homegrown label. Its Product quality, innovative design and affordable prices have made ULTRONĀ®ās products the primary choice among many athletes, amateurs and professional in the region.
ULTRONĀ® takes the great pride of its research and development that places the brand ahead of its competitors. In September 2018, ULTRON Ā® was officially recognized by The Malaysia Book of Records for producing the Lightest Running T-Shirt in Malaysia which weighs only 75 grams.
At the same, the product also maintains its ultra-softness and all the various functionalities of fast-dry, breath-ability, stretch-ability, anti-UV and chaffing-resistant which makes it a cut above the rest.

Today, ULTRONĀ® is known everywhere as the leading Sportswear brand that is rooted in Malaysian soil with footprints across ASEAN and the Middle East. The brand has spread across 12 countries in the last 4 years partnering with numerous international events and tournaments. āBefore we venture abroad, our goal was and is to always grow a strong foundation right here at our home country, and only then we can expand abroad with pride representing Malaysia.ā said CEO Mr Marc Chua.
Between 2015 and 2019, in Malaysia alone, ULTRONĀ® have collaborated with more than 2,500 major events, with more than 3,000,000 pieces of apparel distributed across the country making them the market leader with most the event collaborations in 2017-2018. These strategic partnerships including some of the biggest names of the industry namely IRONMAN Malaysia, IRONMAN Langkawi, Powerman Asia Pacific Tournament, XTERRA Asia Pacific Tournament, Asia Trail Masters, MILO Breakfast Run, Menās Health & Womenās Health Night Run, PJ Half Marathon, Perlis State Marathon, Terengganu State Marathon, Borneo International Marathon and the list goes on.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
In 2016 ULTRONĀ® became the first finalist from Malaysia to be shortlisted by SPIA Asia Sports Industry Awards 2016 for the Best Retail/Product Launch of the Year Category. In 2017, ULTRONĀ® raised the bar to the next level by becoming the Finalists for two different categories, not only for Best Sponsorship of Mass Participation Event, but also selected as one of the Top 10 Sportswear Brands in Asia for 2018.
Back at home in Malaysia, in October 2017, ULTRONĀ® first received the award for āHomegrown Entrepreneurship Excellenceā in the SME & Entrepreneurship Business Award organised by Malaysia Entrepreneurs Foundation, endorsed by the Ministry of Prime Ministerās Department, Ministry of Human Resources and International Council of SME Malaysia and also recognized as being the leading Official Apparel Partner for the most number of Running & Cycling events in Malaysia in 2017-2018.
Subsequently, in 2018, ULTRONĀ® was awarded for the 1st time as Malaysiaās SUPERBRAND by SUPERBRAND International that spans across 93 countries identifying and recognising outstanding brands and also awarded by the Malaysia Book of Records as the producer of the Lightest Running T-shirt in 2018. Marc Chua himself was recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneur.

In November 2018, ULTRONĀ® was selected as one of the Top100 SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises) in Malaysia during the Malaysia SME100 Fast Moving Companies Award Gala presented by YB Dr Ong Kian Ming, Deputy Minister of International Trade & Industry of Malaysia.

Another huge recognition for ULTRONĀ® was to receive TheBrandLaureate BestBrands 2018-2019 Brand Leadership Award in Sports Apparel, alongside some of the most prominent brands in the country. TheBrandLaureate is one of the most prominent branding foundations in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation, that recognizes achievement in branding amongst individuals and companies, not only in Malaysia but regionally across 10 Asian countries. The award was presented to CEO Mr Marc Chua on 27 June 2019 by Honorary Chairman Tan Sri Rainer Althoff and President Dr KK Johan of TheBrandLaureate, witnessed by Guest of Honor, Head of State, President of Nauru His Excellency Baron Waqa.

Enterprise Asia based out of Hong Kong, a non-governmental organization in pursuit of creating an Asia that is rich in entrepreneurship as an engine towards sustainable and progressive economic and social development, awarded CEO Mr Marc Chua the āOutstanding Entrepreneur’ Award in September 2019 during its APEC Entrepreneurship Award Gala, presented by the foundationās chairman Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr. Fong Chan Onn.

In the same month, Marc Chua was again awarded TOP 10 CREATIVE YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR AWARD by JUNIOR CHAMBER INTERNTIONAL (JCI), one of the most prestigious Entrepreneurship Award in Malaysia.

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS
In a latest seed funding discussion in 2018 with a local conglomerate, ULTRONĀ® was valued at USD15Million based on its remarkable growth to-date, leading market share as well as its potential to capitalize on the Asia Pacific market in the next 5 years in line with the exponential growth of the mass participating sports industry.

With its eyes now on the regional expansion specifically on ASEAN and Middle East, CEO Marc Chua is confident to see the company’s value rise up to USD40Million in the next 3 years. He is currently in the midst of finalizing new investments into ULTRONĀ® from Malaysia to further develop an integrated manufacturing line, towards Initial Public Offerings in the next 5 years.

Another major expansion for ULTRONĀ® is the Women label that introduces a wider range of womenās collection specially designed for the Yoga, Zumba and Womenās fitness segment. The products are applied with the same Micro-dry technology to womenās sportswear. ULTRONĀ® aims to ChangeTheGame in a much broader scale and among many different sporting segments within the ASEAN region in the coming year.
In these new segments, ULTRONĀ® Muslimah Sportswear Collection is designed to cater the Muslims community that is not only limited to Malaysia, but across the ASEAN and Middle East region. This initiative enables the brand to fulfil the need of the Muslim community in observing Islamic dress code during sports activities, looking modest and feeling comfortable at the same time.
